    Connect Google

    Connect Google is a service provided by Willing Web. It lets you authorise Willing Web to manage your Google services on your behalf, from your client portal.

    Willing Web manages websites, email and online marketing for New Zealand and Australian businesses. Connect Google lets you grant us access to the Google services we look after for you, so we can action your requests directly instead of asking you to make changes yourself. You stay in control and can disconnect at any time.

    What you can connect

    Google Workspace email: manage your mailboxes and aliases (create, remove, and adjust accounts).

    Google Analytics: read your website traffic to provide reports and diagnose tracking.

    Google Tag Manager: set up and publish the tracking tags on your website.

    Google Search Console: manage your sitemaps and check how your site is indexed.

    How it works

    From your Willing Web portal you connect your Google account and approve the access on Google’s own sign-in screen. We then manage only the services you have asked us to look after. Every change is made by a Willing Web team member and is recorded. You can disconnect at any time from your portal, or from your Google account’s security settings.

    How we handle your data

    Willing Web’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this access only to provide the services you have engaged us for. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it except as needed to provide the service, comply with the law, or with your consent. Access tokens are encrypted, and you can revoke access at any time.
